How you will be assessed:
In order to gain the knowledge and skills needed to be a qualified equine sports and rehabilitation massage therapist you will be assessed in the following ways:

End of section mini assessments - multiple choice questions that you need to get a minimum of 80% correct

Overall end of module assessment at the end of each of the four modules

At the end of module three, after completion of at least two practical days, an online case study assessment

Your five practical days (inlcuded in your course fees) will have ongoing assessment of your practical skills

Complete 2 in depth case studies at the end of module four - one of which will receive detailed feedback

Completion of the final end of course online exam

Our Oldham Venue is perfect for our international students using Manchester Airport.
At this location we offer a high degree of flexibility and provide affordable accommodation options for students.
Group days are available and we are incredibly flexible with trying to arrange semi-private days, extra days and some weekends for students that are limited with travel options.

Meet Olivia
Wolds Equine Rehabilation and training is the work of Olivia Renshaw, proprieter and principal tutor. The Professional Equine Sports Massage Course was developed by Olivia over 7 years ago.
Olivia is a qualified veterinary physiotherapist and is registered with the International Association of Animal Therapists (IAAT). She is passionate about equine bodywork and rehabilitation.
Olivia is also Qualified to teach in the Post-Compulsory sector and holds the BA (Hons) Education & Professional Development Qualification, along with the Certificate in Education (Cert Ed). She is also a qualified riding instructor holding the BHSAI Intermediate Stable Managment certificate.
