FAQs : Level 4 Diploma in Equine Rehabilitation and Massage

This course is designed for those passionate about equine health and interested in gaining advanced skills in therapeutic techniques to help horses recover, maintain, and improve their physical well-being.

What will I be qualified to do after completing the diploma?

On completion, you’ll be qualified as a professional equine sports massage therapist, enabling you to obtain insurance and work independently, providing treatments in a range of settings.  Insurance available for graduates and students from reputable providers such as Balens Insurance.

What accreditation does the diploma have?

Our Equine Sports Massage Diploma is fully accredited by UK Rural Skills and the International Association of Animal Massage and Bodywork (IAAMB). As an approved learning provider, our students can confidently work toward a professional qualification that meets industry standards. Upon graduation, you’re eligible to join the Professional Register with IAAT (International Association of Animal Therapists), further boosting your professional standing.

How is the course delivered?

The course combines flexible online learning with practical training. All theory is delivered through an online portal with video tutorials, assessments, and downloadable resources, while five in-person practical days are required to complete your training.

Where are the practical training days held?

Practical days are available at two locations across Lincolnshire (LN7 and LN9) and Oldham (OL8).  Sessions are kept small, with 4–6 students per group, ensuring plenty of hands-on learning and individual support.

Private practical days available upon request.

How flexible is the course?

The course is designed to fit around your schedule. You can complete the online learning at your own pace, and book practical days at times that suit you.

What resources and assessments are included?

You’ll have access to a comprehensive online portal with video tutorials, multiple-choice assessments, and downloadable PDFs. Assessments are completed online and designed to support your understanding as you progress.

What are the payment options?

We offer two payment options:
• Monthly Payment Plan: Pay £162.50 per month over 12 months
• One-Time Payment: Pay in full for £1,690 and save £260

Payment available with credit card or debit card, PayPal and Klarna.

How long has the course been running and is support available?

The diploma has been running for over 8 years and is regularly updated to reflect best practice. Full support is available throughout your training, from both instructors and our admin team.

What if I’ve previously used the old portal?

Your previous work can be transferred so you can continue from where you left off. You may also wish to revisit updated modules and gain certificates.

 Is the certification recognised?

Yes, each course is CPD certified and accredited, which is essential for students and professionals on certain registers or within professional bodies to demonstrate ongoing competence and commitment to development.

 What do I get each month with my subscription?

Each month, your subscription includes:
• A minimum of 2.5 hours of CPD-certified and accredited content.
• Bite-sized learning materials.
• Access to a mix of video tutorials and interactive content.
• A multiple-choice assessment at the end of each month, allowing you to test your understanding and retain your certification.

Do I keep access to the materials?

To earn the certification, you must complete all assessments within the month they are published. You can download all the necessary files each month and keep them for your reference.
