Kat and I have been genuinely overwhelmed by the incredible support and orders we’ve received for our new book.
What started as an idea between two equine professionals with a shared passion for anatomy and education has quickly grown into something much bigger than we imagined. Orders have been coming in from all over the world, including the UK, Australia, New Zealand, the Netherlands, Denmark, Canada and Norway. Within the UK alone, we’ve received orders from nearly every county.
The response has been fantastic and we are hugely grateful to everyone who has chosen to support the project.
What the Book is About
The book is a practical guide to the equine musculoskeletal system, written by Olivia of Wolds Equine Rehabilitation & Training and Kat of KM Equine Services. It brings together hands-on clinical experience with a shared passion for making anatomy clear, accessible and genuinely useful.
Our aim was to bridge the gap between complex anatomical terminology and the real horse standing in front of you. Rather than simply listing structures, the book focuses on translating anatomy into function, helping readers understand how muscles work together in movement, performance and overall soundness.
Whether you are a horse owner, rider, student or equine professional, the goal is to help you see, feel and understand the body more clearly.
Ultimately, our aim is simple: to help build confident, informed awareness that supports better decision-making and, most importantly, better welfare for the horses in our care.
Printing and Dispatch
Due to the demand, the first print run has now been ordered.
All customer pre-orders will be packaged, labelled and sent as soon as the books arrive with us. The estimated dispatch to customers is early in the week commencing 20th April. General sale of the book will follow shortly afterwards.
We truly cannot wait for people to start receiving their copies. We are both incredibly proud of what we have created together.
Thank You
To everyone who has ordered, shared, or supported the project so far, thank you. The response has meant a great deal to us both.
And let’s just say… there have already been a few conversations, a few scribbled notes and a few ideas brewing about what might come next.
So this may not be the last book you see from us.
